cannot reach bitcoind... after electrum start

Hi,

getting all the time cannot reach bitcoind... in electrum server logs although bitcoind is started on the same host. rpc user and password are configured in electrum.conf file. Someone any ideas how to go on troubleshooting this?

Can you reach bitcoind using bitcoin-cli ?
