Flagged as Phishing by multiple anti-viruses and system messages
Just wanted to make a quick note to you guys that the client download page and sometimes the client itself is classed as phishing or untrusted by antivirus and some system messages. Just for context a virus total test of the download page will flag as suspicious or phishing from 7 to 8 vendors. This is mainly a problem with the dev.fosscord.com URL but sometimes the client itself is classed as malware or untrusted.
I am sadly not familiar enough in some of the languages that this is programmed in to be able to help fix it, sorry!
Just for some context the system messages come from MacOS Montery and most of time will not by default allow the file to open. When tried on a linux machine there is one 'Untrusted' message but that's probably from my firewall. I have not tested this on a machine running Windows
