Handling large number of schemas and tables

I've got a setup where I have a large number of schemas (+1000) and tables (+100) per schema. Is there a way to have pgweb only request the objects of selected schemas in the sidebar? Search also breaks completely.

It is entirely understandable if this is out of scope, but I thought I would ask if there is a way to handle this.
