Doesn't seem to work on Readme view

I dunno if the scope of this extension is only viewing files in github, but I could really use this functionality on the root/README pages of a repository as well.

It's really frustrating that I have this nice widescreen monitor but tables, code blocks etc get cut off leaving just black space on the left and right:
