--disk-space-limit is not limiting properly?

Expected Behavior

setting --disk-space-limit should limit the max disk space used by MMseqs2

Current Behavior

It seems to exceed the max

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Please make sure to execute the reproduction steps with newly recreated and empty tmp folders. Please see the ticket on the MetaEuk Github page: https://github.com/soedinglab/metaeuk/issues/37 They were using MetaEuk V4 with MMseqs2 version 2a972 (Nov 2020 so pretty old) but I guess the problem still hides there...
