In our workplace assets and accessories are supposed to be checked out to location in most cases. Since we have different people working on our machines. Location being our different offices.
Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
As given in Assets checkout, we would like to have a Location Checkout for Accessories as well

I'm in the same boat and would love to be able to check out accessories to locations. I currently had to create a bunch of location-dummy-users to facilitate this need.
I think such a feature would be nice for all non-asset items.
Same here, we are also using the accessory check out to location dummy users. I hope we get the option incorporated soon.
Would like to have this option as well.
For example we have some keyboard and mice that is assigned to a location or a desk and some is assigned to a person. The accesories option makes this the best way to manage as you can put minimum quantity for re orders.
Currently i have to reduce the stock quantity we have on the accesories, create a new asset in our system and then check it out to a location, which seems a rather cumbserome way to handle replacing broken keyboard and mice (among other items, keyboard and mouse was just the easies item use in this example). and causes us to have a accessory asset and dozens of Lose assets.
It seems a bit strange to add in all our desks and meeting rooms and locations (comms room, etc) as a User account (or create an "Office" User just so that i can checkout the necesary accessories while maintaining a steady stock supply and an audit trail of why what and where.

I think I will create dummy users too! It does not make that you are not able to check out accessories to locations.
