Receiver fallback to 0.2.8 (from 0.3.2) !?

Receiver seems to have fallen back to earlier version after being cut from internet due to network maintenance. Was running on 0.3.2 rpi-gpu after automatic update more than a year ago. After network restored it ran on 0.2.8 and was inop. Re-installed lastest image and is back on 0.3.2 Raising this issue as I have no clue how this could happen.
