Update SDL Library for API level 35

Description

Android 15 has been released last month, and Google will enforces app developers to update API level to 35 in next few months. Is there any plan to update SDL library for API level 35? I believe SDL library must update at least gradle version and AGP version.

Hi @theresalech, do you have any update on this? You know, Google has been accelerating Android release schedule, and Android 16 (API 36) will be released in Q2 2025. Android 15 (API 35) was released 3 months ago, and API 35 support will become mandatory soon (I think it is by Q2 2025).

The SDL android library is now released which supports API level 36. https://github.com/smartdevicelink/sdl_java_suite/releases/tag/v5.8.0
