How to use gauge metrics for latency SLO?

I have metric that are gauge - kafka_network_requestmetrics_totaltimems{request="Produce", quantile="0.99"}. I want to have SLO which show how often this metric exceeds some value (100ms for example). Can sloth help me with that?
