SiPeed Logic Analyzer in offical pulseview
Hello,
i am curious if you plan to add the logic analyzer to the official pulseview / sigrok repository. I have just purchased the device and checked in the offical pulseview app, without success. (latest nightly) Instead I have installed your version, which then wont let me use my other devices compatible with pulseview.
I have look coarsely for a push request for addition and a wiki page on the sigrok wiki, but nothing is pointing for a official support.
Can you start this process? Would make my live much easier and also we could use up-to-date versions of pulseview.

http://sigrok.org/wiki/Windows#Firmware Maybe providing a firmware file in addition to the pre-built pulseview would be a possibility
Also, I am not an expert in licensing, but pulseview is licensed under GPL3.0

I think this means the source code needs to be available if the software is distributed.
Same here, I am using pulseview with scope and SLogic. Also sipeed provided app crashes sometimes
Providing an AppImage binary version of Pulseview with a libsigrok modified for SLogic support, without releasing the source code. Sounds like a violation of the GPL to me, don't you think?
@Neutree @wj-xiao Sorry for pinging you here, took your names from the commit log. But I am not sure if this repo gets monitored, since every issue I look in, no one answered, at least not from Sipeed employees. Could you check and forward this to persons concerned?
Thank you all for your attention. I am the developer, and I have already open-sourced the modified libsigrok code. Currently, I am busy working on the development of a new product. Once the features are implemented and compatibility issues are resolved, I will also release the latest code.
@taorye since sigrokproject/libsigrok#212 has been closed without merger, could you open a new PR from your fork?
I'm evaluating getting a Sipeed SLogic Combo 8, but worried that it's effectively abandoned for software support.
The process of integrating the latest developments into the main branch has officially commenced. Community members and contributors are invited to monitor the progress through the dedicated Pull Request sigrokproject/libsigrok#262. This PR serves as a pivotal point for tracking updates, facilitating discussions, and ensuring transparency in the development cycle. @jace
