Amigo: lcd.set_backlight()

I cannot seem to disable the backlight or turn off the screen on the Amigo. Calls to lcd.set_backlight and get_backlight don't seem to work.

I see ILI9486 has pin 23 for backlight control, if it is hooked up somewhere possibly can fix with GPIO if connected -- Is there Amigo schematic posted anywhere?

I see the LCD driver does some thing with the AXP173 via I2c, so maybe it can be turned off that way but datasheet for that chip is only in Chinese.
