Description
I have looked for a definition of "severity" but haven't been able to find one. Is there one somewhere, please?

Hi @ajthomas1949!
Severity is the term used to describe why this interval was marked as anomalous.
The models in Orion mainly work by generating a new signal to compare the actual one with. Then we calculate the discrepancy between the generated and actual signals and call it an "error" signal. The severity score comes from the average error value at the respective interval. I recommend reading the blogpost on TadGAN to see how these models work.
I hope this clears it up! Let me know if you have further questions
