13 of 15 tests fail because no package.json in dist folder

I could not get the --include flag working, so I tried cloning the repo.

make build

works fine

make test

fails all but the last two tests.

It complains there is no package.json in the dist folder?

I'm using Mac M1 Pro on Sonoma 14.6.1 using Node 20.16.0
