"Error: Remote servers are not synced." & is shipit dead?

is not resolved for over 7 years. Even though there is agreement that it should be solved.

It was closed, and a PR trying to fix it, here : https://github.com/shipitjs/shipit-deploy/pull/162 closed because "it is resolved in v4 about to be released". that was 2018.

Which leads me to believe the proper question here should be, is shipit dead - and can we add a big warning that it is a dead project?

seems to be dead, but I haven't found a decent alternative.

shipit is grunt task based which isn't really something i want to develop on in 2022

what other options are there? I had trouble with shipit before so just cooked up my own stuff, now I have a hairball of shell scripts :(
