Cordova 6?

Anyone gotten this to work w/ Cordova 6.3.1? I'm still using the patch referenced in https://github.com/shi11/RemoteControls/issues/20 to enable the forward and previous buttons and I can debug my way into MainViewController+RemoteControls.h#remoteControlReceivedWithEvent but I cannot catch the document's remote-event event in my JS anymore?
