shift keys not being able to be swaped
What device are you trying to remap the shift keys on? If it is for a game and you can remap the keys within it, then swap them in the in-game settings instead.
im a lefty gamer(mainly shooters) and i use linux cos i dont have the most powerfull pc and it is light,i play some web browser games and i cant remap keys in online games so it would be really usefull if i could, thanks
There are other tips in other posts for checking to make sure input-remapper recognizes the keys you are trying to swap so make sure it even sees your device. 1)What device are you trying to remap the shift keys on? 2)What is the code you are putting into the box on the right side? 3)Are you able to remap other keys on the device you are using?

it detects shift l to shift r, it says they have been remaped, but they have not
