New Release Request

I wasn't quite sure where to request this, so if this is not the correct channel, please let me know! I just noticed that the last release to PyPI for this repo was 4 years ago and was wondering if there are any plans for any new releases? And if not, is there any way I can help to facilitate a release?

I am also curious about this. There have been essential fixes since 2021 that make this work in current broken environments. A release would be really appreciated.
