Not loading on ARM

Open ZGainsforth opened this issue 9 months ago • 1 comments

ReciPro installs successfully on Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon). The Windows Desktop V. 9.0.3 x64 was also installed. Launching ReciPro results in a process running for a second or less and then it quits without any output to the user. I also tried using the Windows Desktop V9.0.4 for for x64 and for arm. Same result in all cases.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I think the problem is probably caused by the use of x64-specific instructions in the code, but I don't have an ARM CPU at the moment, so I can't debug it. Please wait until I get an ARM CPU development environment.

It's been a long time coming, but I've made progress.

I've confirmed that the latest version of ReciPro runs on ARM64 Windows (Dev channel of the Insider Preview). I expect it to run on normal Windows for ARM64 in the near future.

I did not upgrade a new version of windows, but I did download the new version 4.913(2025/12/12) and the 10.1 .NET and it is now working. Thank you!
