High memory usage

When started with to following parameters:

wlr-sunclock \
   --margins "0,0,0,0" \
   --width 1920 \
   --layer bottom \
   --anchors tblr \
   --border-width 2 \
   -i 1

The memory usage seems quite high (412M VIRT, 73M RES) on a 4k screen.

Is there room for improvement ?

yeah that seems suspiciously high, i'll need to look into this
