Use plugboard when sending email

Hi, I started using COPS not long ago and discovered it is possible to use the send to email for the kindle. However, it seems the metadata are not updated using the plugboard. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal behavior? In such case, I could suggest that as an improvement! Thanks for your help
