BERT crashes Excel
When I try to open Excel after installing BERT, Excel crashes after a few seconds of use; the one useful error message I did get was something about the libraries not being compiled for BERT. The tool ribbon also does not appear. I wish there were more details to provide but would appreciate any thoughts on how to resolve the issue.
I'm sorry to hear that but that is not much to go on. You can check in the event viewer, which should have a record of the crash, which might indicate some more information.
When you say a few seconds of use, it doesn't crash if you start excel and then just leave it alone? Do you have to actually do something?
I met a similar situation, whenever I want to input an argument in function through "shift f3", it crashes the excel. After a while of searching and trying, I realize this crashing problem happens when I use plotting function. But for other calculation functions, it works fine. I suppose it's because plot function doesn't have expected results which result in an error in the excel function argument dialog.
