Logic Pro X Crash When Switching NAM User Saved Presets [BUG]

Open ToneDeth opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug Switching between saved presets in the NAM plugin in Logic X results in Logic crashing stating that the plugin has become 'unstable'

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to NAM plugin in Logic and add as an AU unit in a channel
  2. Load some amps and IRs in to NAM and start saving different presets via the Save As function in NAM
  3. Have the channel recording and input monitoring enabled. It will only crash with these both enabled. If these are off it appears to worrk fine.
  4. Start switching between your saved presets. Usually after the 5th or 6th switch the error should come.
  5. See error

Expected behavior I expected to switch presets without crashing.

It's this still an Issue with the latest version?

It is still an issue with 0.7.3. I will download 0.7.5 and report back.

Hi. Great news. I was unable to recreate the issue in 0.7.5. I could move through many saved presets and it never crashed. I quickly went back to 0.7.3 and was again able to recreate the issue so nothing else has changed other than the update. Well done. Thank you.
