Allow overriding default "automatic search" setting for an individual request

Open reyemxela opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Description

Both Radarr and Sonarr service settings have an "Enable Automatic Search" option that applies to all approved requests. Most of the time, I like having automatic search enabled so I don't have to do anything besides approve the request.

However, there are some times when I don't want it to auto-search because I want to look for a specific download myself. Specifically with older/more obscure shows or movies that might need some manual searching, or a special edition, etc.

As it is currently, I can manually add the show/movie to sonarr/radarr and manage searching and downloading, then just approve the request after the fact. But being able to override the service setting when approving would save a step or two.

Desired Behavior

An extra checkbox on the approve request window allowing me to override the default "automatic search" behavior defined in the service settings would be perfect.

Stalebot bump.

This obviously isn't the most critical of feature-requests, but I still think it'd be a nice quality-of-life improvement, and having it be closed just because there hasn't been any activity sucks.

(edit: now that I look closer, it never actually added the stale tag? I'll leave the comment here regardless)
