Support writing with Snappy compression

In your opinion, what is the status of this issue? How difficult do you think it is to implement this feature? Can I help you?

I am planning to use this project in a production environment writing ORC files and we plan to use Snappy as an encoder due to the compression / decompression speed and maybe using ZStandard as well. What do you think about using this project in a production enviroment?
