I wanna build on Linux. But since it uses py2exe, I cant.

If you mean scratch2exe, it is available in the old-c++ branch: https://github.com/scratchnative/scratchnative/blob/old-c++/scripts/scratch2exe.py

You should likely use the old-c++ version of the program for compiling this project
