adding a public key to p7mkey

I made a mess of the p7mkey while trying to add a new key, basically all the ones I did not have in the local store were lost. Not sure if this is wanted or not but is it possible to extract all the pub keys from the p7mkey and add them to my local keystore so that this won't happen again ?
