Adding actions
Is it possible to add actions to a custom module. I created a module and when I click on actions and I have no options to email or sms.
Yes you can use Custom Links and then program what you need

I am coping the custom links from the contacts module. SMS works in list view but not detailview. There is no email custom links in the contatcs module so I cant copy them. How do i find out what url to put in?

I decided to scrap my module and edit the contacts module. when I add 2 date fields to the Contact module I get a blank screen when clicking on Contact summary. Only happens after I create custom fields. Does not happen on fresh install.It happens when I click on Invoices or sales order. Does not happen when I click on activities. I am trying to join the vtiger mailing list also. Have been at this for 2 days and 4 different vtiger installations.
