Sorry, just getting to this. If you're still wanting this, couple questions. I'm not very familiar with Invidious—would you want YouTube links replace with Invidious links, or do you use Invidious links directly? There should probably be a setting to set which instance you'd like to use?

I would use invidious link directly thereby linking to my own private instance (or others).

The instance is determined by URL so imho no need to set that?

All it needs is logic to get the thumbnail for the embed?
