not working as your gif animation shows

why my try is not working as your animated GIF shows? nothing comes out. please see my code in the picture:

You will need to set up a keyboard shortcut for the addin; it doesn't run automatically based on the commented instructions you provide (Tools -> Addins -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> GPT Text Command Auto-Execute). Or you can call it manually by selecting GPT Text Command Auto-Execute from the Addins menu. Let me know if that does or doesn't make sense. image

I installed openai package. But there is no "openai" in my addin. Do you know how to make it in the addin list? image

Hi Eric, did you install using the instructions in the readme? install.packages("devtools"); devtools::install_github("samterfa/openai"). Is it possible that you instead installed the openai cran package using install.packages('openai')?
