Strange Keyboard Behavior + Changed Mouse Behavior

I have compose key to "Right Alt", which in my country keyboard it is the [Alt Gr] key.

AltGr allows me to enter additional symbols in Portuguese keyboard, symbols such:

AltGr 2 -> @ AltGr 3 -> £ AltGr 4 -> § AltGr 5 -> € AltGr 7 -> { AltGr 8 -> [ AltGr 9 -> ] AltGr E -> € (both 5 and E produce €) AltGr + -> ¨ (is the dead key allowing me to enter characters like ä ë ï ö ü )

For most of the time the AltGr work as intended with wincompose and the original behavior is kept. However some times it goes really bad and keyboard suddenly starts to behave in odd ways. Many times I have to rename folders with names like "[ System ] [ Drivers ] - Video". So I use [ AltGr ] + [ 8 ] + [ 9 ], to produce the sequence []. Then I go back and insert the required word " System ", then go forward, for the second part of the name, and use again [ AltGr ] + [ 8 ] + [ 9 ] for the second sequence. If the problem is going to happen, everything goes to hell.

1. All keys stop to respond, or some keys respond but others, like cursor arrows, don't.

2. The mouse start to behave in odd ways too. The main mouse function is lost and the single left click over a files name no longer go into the rename operation. Double left click no longer opens files nor folders, but opens the folder/file properties.

3. Can't open wincompose options.

4. Sometimes the tool tip shows and sticks visible at the left top part of the screen.

5. Shutting down wincompose in task manager does not reset the strange keyboard/mouse behavior. A computer restart is required to completely restore the keyboard and mouse normal behavior.

6. However the described events may happen at any time with no distinguished pattern. It may or may not happen after waking up the computer when it went to sleep for a long time, i'm not sure. Again there isn't any distinguished pattern.

Renaming operations (as described) do not always cause the problem, yet in most times the problem is observed happening on renaming using those keys. But it can happen randomly at ANYTIME I enter some text., sometimes happening in the middle of a sentence.

I sometimes have the same problem, and I am still trying to figure out what happens.

Note that CtrlAltDel then Escape will fix the problem without rebooting, this may prove helpful!
