Very slow on older devices

The frame rate is very low, around 0.5 fps on iPhone 4S and the app receives memory warning in about 8 seconds. Hope that helps! :+1:

At the moment, first launch demands camera access with no context. This is just a demo app, but it should still ask nicely - that means including something to display...

It's outdated, and needs rewriting - preferably with more of an explanation as to what's going on with regards to the camera input, `CIDetector`, etc.
