URL handling is built-in to vim. Typing gx over a URL (or file path) opens it with the default handler for that OS. Check out `:help gx`.

According to your .vimrc you are still using spaces. I removed the 'set expandtab' option from your .vimrc so now you can use tabs again :3
🤣 If you replace every piece of a ryanb/dotfiles one by one over the course of 13 years, is it still the same ryanb/dotfiles? 🤔
