Magic mouse not showing in preferences

Open soupman99 opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Just purchased today. When I try and set my options for my magic mouse isn't shown in the preferences panel.

My mouse is connected and I've added Middle to my Accessibility settings.

I followed these instructions without success.

Using M1 Mac, Ventura 13.3.1 (a)

Any idea on how to resolve this?

Thanks for purchasing. MiddleTouch is the App Store variation of the app that does not have Magic Mouse support. Did you purchase MiddleTouch, rather than Middle? If you purchased Middle, send me a screenshot of the prefs window and I'll see what's going on.

whoops, that was it! Will repurchase the right one. Thanks for the heads up. Weird that it's different, but I'm sure there's a smart reason for it.

Glad it’s figured out. There is kind of a strange limitation that prevents the API for the Magic Mouse from being permitted in the App Store and that’s why there are the two versions.
