[Suggestion] smart gaps: windows maximizing instead of just resizing

This just something I've been thinking that maybe can make the smart gaps a little better (even though is already really good). While today the window just resize to fit the entire space, maybe setting it to enter in the maximized mode can make not only better looking but more useful for some apps. As an example in firefox, my tabs gets squished even though my window is fitting all of my screen. I don't know how hard it is (my js knowledge is just terrible), but I can see this as a good improvement.

I think that's a good idea, when I have time I can add an option for maximized smart gaps. Thanks for the suggestion.
