Remove the partner FAQ. replace it with showing the bank's contact information
Why
We don't have any partner FAQ that reasonably go across the banks -- especially now that the banks have the partners use different ways of requesting things. On consultation with the banks (2024/03/06) we have decided to remove the FAQ
Details
1/ Currently the 'Need help" goes to partners/help, which is an empty FAQ. Instead, partners/help should show the bank's contact information so.. something like:
For help, please contact: Name of bank's primary contact at Bank Name email of bank's primary contact telephone of bank Note: we recently did something similar to replace the error form -- maybe that can be repurposed.
These pieces of information can be found on partner.organization
2/ Remove "Questions for Partners" from Superuser FAQ (which is reached by signining as [email protected] and clicking FAQ) 3/ Remove questions for partners from seed 4/ Remove for partners / for banks checkboxes from New FAQ Entry. Default all to "For banks" instead.
Criteria for completion
- [ ] functionality changed as described above
- [ ] additional tests re showing the bank's info
- [ ] removal of tests re partner FAQ
- [ ] bank FAQ tests still work
Bonus round
- strip out the bank/partner differentiation in the FAQ modelling, (and, of course, make sure the bank FAQ still works)
