[Documentation issue] The full dRuby package can be downloaded from the dRuby home page (see References).
Right now the README reads:
"The full dRuby package can be downloaded from the dRuby home page (see References)."
However had searching for "References" yields no result on the main README.
Could a link be added to the main README, or a notice in regards "full dRuby"; or if this is no longer available, the line shown above be removed? Right now it is a bit confusing, as we visitors do not know what is meant with "References" exactly, as there is no such word on the main README other than that sentence.
@rubyFeedback The note in the README is a part of the generated documentation system's way of documenting.
https://github.com/ruby/drb/blob/master/lib/drb/drb.rb#L29 is the heading References, where the homepage note is listed.
The links there have been with the project ever since its extraction as a separate gem.
EDIT: in #33, I updated some of those links.
Do we need to do more about this? Can we close this?
@kou Perhaps the claim in the README that it's possible to get more docs should be removed? It's a dangling reference.
You refer the following part in README, right?
The Ruby standard library contains the core classes of the dRuby package. However, the full package also includes access control lists and the Rinda tuple-space distributed task management system, as well as a large number of samples. The full dRuby package can be downloaded from the dRuby home page (see References).
OK. Let's remove this part.
