Make a 1.0.0 release?

Hi! thanks for the continuous work on the project. There were several 0.X releases. I was wondering if a 1.0 would be possible / if this project follows semantic versioning? In the semver world a 1.X release would imply a stable API until the next major release, that would make it a bit easier to deal with the benchmark gem in other projects.
