"Invalid user or password" after password reset or new user signup

I've tried to reset my password for [email protected] - the email arrived, the new password was set, but any attempt to login returned Invalid user or password.

I then tried to sign up as a new user, but got the same issue.

I very much doubt it's mistyped as I'm using a password manager.

After this (failed) attempt to sign in, clicking "Lost password" on https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/login results in a redirect to the home page https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/ (instead of the "forgot password" page).
