Support request: I fail to pair

Open it-linden opened this issue 3 months ago • 7 comments

Hallo all,

I have an ESP32 wroom 32u and a TENSTAR CC1101. Flashing worked fine. I want to control a Somfy Awning, Telis 1 RTS pure is the original remote

I can receive the signals from my remote and set the awning into pairing mode, but I get no reaction after pressing the pair-button in ESPSomfy (once/longer/repeating).

I also tried swapping RX/TX. Could you suggest what I could do next?

Hello, as recommendation in wiki docs, first check Logs tap and press any key of your original remote, you should see your command in log list, this is the step before going to pairing, if your log is fine and you can see your command please share here, otherwise you should double check your spi interface (all these 8 wire from esp to cc1101)

Thanks abaghbani!

It was probably not the smartest idea to hide the log in the linked spreadsheet: Image

In the screenshot is only the "PROG", but it also detects up, down and "my".

Try to use a new Transceiver.

Did these logs come from before or after you switched rx/tx?

You could try to change pin8 (GDO2 - RX interrupt) to GPIO14 as long as you follow the rest of the shcematics. That means you keep pin 3 (GDO0 - TX interrupt) to GPIO13.

Thanks for answering on this old topic, @jaarsa! It came before and I switched back later. But to be honest, I am not sure if I did not see the logs even with inverted RX/TX. I will try GPIO14 and GPIO13 with RX and TX, thanks for the suggestion!

I will also try a ESP32-C3 Super Mini in the same run.

You can check out this https://github.com/rstrouse/ESPSomfy-RTS/issues/603#issuecomment-3393611586 to see why you should avoid GPIO-12.
