Hi there,

Need help, according to the schematic,the adapter required 15mhz xtal. can i replace it with 16Mhz? do i have to change the fuse settings? and which variation of the ATMega168 should I choose?

Hello, You can replace the crystal with 15 MHz (but why?) you need to change a line in "makefile" where it says 16000000 or so, change to 15000000. This is not very well tested.

For the CPU, there's a partlist in the "misc" folder, called "Warenkorb übernehmen..." it is German but you can see the part list of you open it. Should be Atmega 168A-AU, as shown in that list.

Of course I meant replace 15 MHz with 16 MHz, not the other way round.

There is also a USA Part list in misc/Retroadapter_USAParts.xlsx

It might help. This is the list I used to order my parts from Mouser.
