Feature request: Inter Rounded version
After seeing SF Pro Rounded, I was thinking if it would be good to have a rounded version of Inter along with the new Display version. I find the rounded version quite an interesting variant that looks good on documents as text or headings and also on some UIs. I user Inter in Intellij but I think a rounded version would look better. The SF "Rounded" version has Display metrics, ie when you compare SF Pro Rounded and SF Pro Display they are quite similar in size and spacing different from SF Pro Text. I think a rounded SF Pro Text would also look good.
Hence proposing a Rounded "Text" version of Inter.
Obviously this is just my opinion, would like to hear what others think.
This will likely not happen, at least not with a few years. However it’s fairly easy to create a rounded version that gets close to being good. For instance, you can use Glyph.app’s "Round Corners” filter to automatically apply rounded corners to all glyphs. You’ll get some weird things but most glyphs will look good.
