The DataCite DOI schema has relationType IsSupplementedBy

This is probably out of scope, but given DataCite DOIs are applied to PhD theses and Masters theses, one could argue that the package could be extended to cover DataCite DOIs.

Here's a real world example:

> #LSHTM 2016 PhD thesis, with supplementary data, DataCite DOI
> cr_agency(dois='10.17037/PUBS.03234043')
$DOI
[1] "10.17037/pubs.03234043"

$agency
$agency$id
[1] "datacite"

$agency$label
[1] "DataCite"

> suppdata("10.17037/PUBS.03234043", 1)
Error in if (pub$prefix == "http://id.crossref.org/prefix/10.0000") stop("Cannot find publisher for DOI: ",  :
  argument is of length zero
In addition: Warning message:
404: Resource not found. - (10.17037/PUBS.03234043)

In the DataCite schema there is relationType IsSupplementedBy (indicates that the related resource is a supplement to the DataCite registered resource).

<relatedIdentifier
relatedIdentifierType="PMID"
relationType="IsSupplementedBy">16911322/
</relatedIdentifier>

so in-theory, I think one could traverse from a DataCite DOI to supplementary data associated with the DataCite DOI.

Thanks; you're right that I could implement this, but at the moment it isn't there.

I'll flag this as a potential improvement.

I hope all's well with you, Ross!

Here's a couple of real life examples from the university of Cambridge repository. I'm hoping in the near future that more Masters and PhD students will feel encouraged to archive data and code separately/properly with metadata record-linkage, rather than just lumping it inside the PhD PDF as is usual (I did this myself for my PhD thesis ☹️ )
