Update Checker / Auto-Updates
Obvious convenience benefit. Simply checking for new versions would be useful on its own. Downloading updates from within the mod manager would be ideal, and would hypothetically allow installing mods by simply pasting a URL into the program. But this would likely be much more complicated, so I can understand not going all the way.
Even while this feature is unimplemented, it'd be good for info.xml to have an optional Nexus Mods ID. For example, Living City would be <NexusID>81</NexusID>. This would also allow linking to the mod page in-app for convenience. And in the future, this would allow older mods to be retroactively functional in an update system.
Of course, such a system could (and probably should) also have independent update sources in some way, but Nexus is popular enough to consider, at least to allow people to easily go back to the page and check for updates themselves.
