I'm reaching out to Sniper to find out if it is possible for him to create an API on DMDB that would do this. The challenge here is that we...

Here's what we have to work with: http://enspiar.com/dmdb/dxxList.php It's not the best, because we're getting either the name of the level as typed in by the level author, which could...

I've never seen this. That said, I can't play past hotshot to save my life. Does this only happen on difficulties higher than hotshot?

An interesting idea, but I think this'll probably need to be post-1.4. Changes to the demo system aren't easy.

As a note, fusion does this, too. I'm hesitant to fix this. It's a glitch, yes, but it really only affects speedrunning the game, which exactly one person currently does,...

@CDarrow Let me know if I missed anything in that task list above. It's been a long time since I've played either D2 or D3 CTF.

@CDarrow Am I reading the code correctly here? This actually appears to be 25 times per second (40ms)? https://github.com/CDarrow/DXX-Retro/blob/50ec7ba6e058cc0d90ca332d12059de2700aa69b/d1/main/object.c#L124-L125

Also, it appears to be 30 times per second (33 1/3 ms) in D2. https://github.com/CDarrow/DXX-Retro/blob/50ec7ba6e058cc0d90ca332d12059de2700aa69b/d2/main/game.h#L117 https://github.com/CDarrow/DXX-Retro/blob/50ec7ba6e058cc0d90ca332d12059de2700aa69b/d2/main/object.c#L2132

Yeah, homers track way more than 8 times per second. I don't think this is a valid issue.

Given a smooth 200 FPS, a setting of `F1_0/25` for `idealHomerFrameTime` means that 25 times per second, or once every 8 frames, `homerFrameCount` will get incremented and `doHomerFrame` will be...
