Google Slides Add-on?

Google Slides seems to have a way to create add-ons. Does it make sense to wrap this tool into a side panel of Google slides? So we paste code into the side panel and the styled code got pasted into the slides directly.

I can help develop if you think this is a reasonable idea and within the scope of this tool.

Hmm, is it possible to do that as a fork of this repo? Sounds very interesting! Go for it if you have the time to try it out :-)

I know this is a long shot, but adapting to an add-on sounds brilliant.

Another way forward with this issue might be a browser extension for Firefox and Chrome.
