[BUG] Can't sign in due to "'defer' is an unexpected token" error

Open dersnek opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug I can't sign into the app due to this error:

'defer' is an unexpected token. The expected token is '='. Line 37, position 70.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the app
  2. Enter my valid credentials
  3. Press sign in
  4. See the error in the sign in dialog

Expected behavior I should sign into the app and get access to app's UI.

Screenshots The error appears as text on the sign in dialog window, lmk if you need a screenshot.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Windows 11 Home 21H2 build 22000.556
  • 64 bit
  • Version 2.6.4 (it's been happening with previous versions too)

F1TV account

  • Subscription type: Pro
  • Country of subscription: US
  • I'm using VPN

Additional context I was able to use the app on Windows 10, I think it stopped working after upgrade to Windows 11.

That login screen is from an older version, please download the latest release.

it's not easy to see there's a new version when all is locked and when closing the login screen, the app closes 😔

I can only hope that we can have a Chocolatey version as requested in https://github.com/robvdpol/RaceControl/issues/420 😊👌
