Android Support

The Android Browser is not a good browser (cup cake). There is no multitouch support and no hardware accelered 3d css. Android support is not possible at the moment.

You mean the android browser? So Opera browser on Android will be supported?

All depends on multitouch and speed. Opera is really fast and maybe it works on Android 2.1. I have only Android 1.5 and can't do anything here. The T-Mobile G2 was very slow and it made not much sense to implement the map.

Yep, speed is a problem also on my HTC Hero. OL maps are almost not working and taking AGES to load. Okay so lets wait till And 2.1 then.

I tried to enable Android now but can't test it. There are some special MSIE things in the code for disabling SVG. Maybe Android needs the same because Android Browser das not support XHTML (1.5)

Nope, Android doesn't show anything. Looks like no Javascript is running or has a problem on the Android

I see that there are more fixes for Android but I don't see any tiles loaded yet.

Android is now enabled. On my HTC Legend there are many problems with preventing default browser behaviour.

It looks like HTC Legend has problems with: viewport

and event.preventDefault()

There is no multitouch in javascript. No SVG support on Android and finally it's not really speedy - but ok with 1 GHz Snapdragon.

It works now nicer then before. Zooming goes pretty well but it sometimes asks if I want to save the image. Of course I don't. Zooming into a direction seems a bit off as it doesn't really respond much to the location. But most problematic is moving and zooming out.
