Dzen2 not staying on the screen anymore when apps are fullscreened

Dzen2 used to stick to the screen even when apps were fullscreened. I liked to be able to do that because I have the temps and memory and such in a dzen2 bar at all times. Unless there's a way to make this happen that I'm unaware of?

Using the '-dock' flag should instruct the WM to handle dzen as a bar.

Depending on your WM this may or may not lead to dzen being hidden in fullscreen.

Nope that doesn't work for me on i3. Using the -dock flag makes dzen2 go under the i3bar instead of sitting on top of it like usual and it gets hidden when things are fullscreened :/
