Blender 4.5 Support

Blender 4.5 is set to release on July 15, 2025. At this moment there are no known issues specific to the latest FLIP Fluids 1.8.3 and Blender 4.5 Alpha (33d16796a751 20 Mar 03:28), but this could change as Blender 4.5 develops.

You'll need to update to FLIP Fluids 1.8.3 for compatibility with Blender 4.4+ which avoids this error (#642)

Other than some minor UI warnings, there continues to be no known critical issues specific to the latest FLIP Fluids 1.8.3 and the latest Blender 4.5 Alpha (64a13f4be277 25 May 03:37 x64).

The following warning/alert will be displayed for the simulation cache directory as well as some other filepath fields, but these do not currently interfere with the addon functionality.

Blender 4.5 LTS is now fully supported in the latest FLIP Fluids 1.8.4 release (Release Notes).

FLIP Fluids 1.8.4 is supported in Blender 4.1 to Blender 4.5.
