Hot reload in Unity
How to use hot reload in Unity? Currently, I have to export from Rive, extract the Zip file, then place the .riv file inside the Unity project folder every time I make a change. This process is time-consuming and not convenient.
We don't have a solution for this yet, but we are planning on supporting a live editor link which will automatically re-write asset files that are actively open in the Rive editor. Do you use Rive primarily in desktop or web? Depending on Unity constraints we may be only able to support this from the desktop app (but that's TBD).
I only use the Rive desktop app, so that would be fine.
